A Study on being Infected by Parasite of Urban Inhabitants

Abstract
|
|
|
To investigate the actual state of being infected by parasite of urban inhabitants (especially western area: 1 gu dong Bisan, 5 gu dong Bisan, and 5 gu and 6 gu dong Wondae), I collected 1,833 men´s excretions (including 813 women´s) and gained the results following:
1. The percentage of being infected by parasite is 62.6 percent.
2. The kinds of parasite are following:
62.6% roundworm
60. 1% whipworm
1.3 % pinworm
0.6 liver fluke
1.6 trichostrongylus orientalis
1.7 ancyostoma duodenale
0.3 tapeworm
3. It is found out that through the three parts of the city the infected by roundworm is the highest percentage.
4. The infected percentage by sex shows that women are higher than men.
5. It is considered that the result of being infected by parasite comes from the short of public
health knowledge and education.
